MY BUSINESS SUCCESS DIARIES 

A New Beginning

I fear failures, but the self gratification is too sweet. 

My Humble Life & Education

My name is Guela, which means God is with us in Wê, which is my native tribe located in Ivory Coast, where I am originally from. I am in my 20s, and I am going to university for my bachelor's major in entrepreneurship. I already have two other associates and certificates. I am only working as a receptionist, but I hope to thrive and grow all of the companies that I am creating.

My Mental Health

Everyone has a little anxiety. But have you ever felt so scared of going outside for days, months, or even years due to your social anxiety? 

That’s me. 

I have many social anxiety disorders, which I am not going to explain too much due to personal reasons. I have two mental health problems. The first one is agoraphobia, which is the fear of going outside. The second one is sweat stress, which is the extreme sweating that can cause a lack of confidence and body dysmorphia. 

This started in the last month of 2019, when I started to get bullied and racial profiled. It was a horrifying experience that marked and destroyed my life. I didn't want to leave my room or attend university. I hated my job and the people. I was sweating, which resulted in many more uncomfortable experiences. I have been crying almost every day since. I lost my motivation and jobs, and I hated the faces of people and what they might say. I tried therapy and medications, obviously, but it was in vain. I hated everything, including my own body. 

Now, it is 2024, and because of these experiences, I am still not able to fully recover to my full potential. Some people might ask, Why do you want to continue “entrepreneurship” when you can’t go outside yet? Well, I want to help my country in West Africa. I believe that even with my conditions, I can continue to thrive and work smart. So, that is why I continue, even with this condition.  

I am dedicated to life and health. 

The Crochet Life

During these difficult times, I found myself crocheting. It was a thrilling moment of self-discovery. It helps me cope with everything I lose during my health decline. I decided to take it seriously, so I started to post and enjoy more projects, but I was broke and not capable of having more yarn or money to expand. I also continued to deal with my agoraphobia and sweat stress. It was awful. My first project was a balaclava and heart keychain, which you can find on my TikTok account. However, I yearned for greater opportunities in life. I wanted to open my own business. 

A business and Dream to work hard for

So, I started to create a business plan for my future business. As an entrepreneur college student, it was an easy breeze but reality hit me harder. 

I WAS PROCRASTINATING and FEARING THE UNKNOWN.

I could not produce more projects,plus the crochet industry is very saturated

(I watched thousands of videos). But since I was broke, I tried to apply to any social media which will help me.

However, I learned that it was more difficult than it seems.

I felt defeated and scared to start.

I could not post my Kofi page due to fear and lack of support.

Subsequently, I promised I will never give up even if I am crippling with anxiety and fears.

So I continue to persevere. 

Entities:
Which is why I created the entities of the Eternal Handmade. They consist of:

1. Madame Knowledge: focus on education. 
2. Sunny Farm Family & Markets: consists on farming, animals and more
3. Mr.Builder: Home decors and more
4. Gaia: focus on environment and recycling products
5. Hal Cheff: focus on food related products

Each entity represents my values as a person and my hopes for this business. 

Goals of the present, future:
The goal of the present is to continue to heal through

exposure therapy by going outside and continuing my video journal entries. 

My future goals for my business are:

1. Gain 1000 followers by the end August 2024 in Youtube and Tiktok
2. Produce 100 products by the end of 2024
3. Gain $200 per months 
4. Build my shop 
5. More… 

Schedule
My schedule consist of:

1. Monday to Sunday: Post on Tiktok and Blog until I get 1000 followers
2. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday: Create videos on Youtube
3. Wednesday and Friday: Long video on Youtube
